Crowns
crownsCrowns are dental restorations that cover or “cap” a tooth to restore it to its normal shape and size.  Crowns will cover and support a tooth with a large filling when there isn't enough of the tooth left to be functional.  It can also be used to attach a bridge, protect a weak tooth from breaking or restore one that's already broken.  They are also used to cover a dental implant.  A crown will make your tooth stronger and improve its appearance.  Crowns are a good way to cover teeth that are discolored or badly shaped.

Bridges
bridgeA Bridge can replace the space where one or more teeth have been lost.  A bridge (also known as a fixed partial denture) is bonded into place.  Bridges can help support your lips and cheeks, improve your chewing function, and prevent drifting of the teeth nearby.  At Mason Dental, we create a number of different types of bridges so a visit with Dr. Mason will be necessary to determine which one is right for you.
