Digital X-Rays
Our dental radiation system is state-of-the-art, digital, high speed technology and requires only a fraction of the amount of radiation used for previous forms of radiology. Using digital imaging, we acquire enhanced x-rays of your teeth, allowing us to easier identify dental caries, examine your bone health as well as the TMJ (tempomandibular joint) and any other dentally related conditions. After all, early detection is key to a healthy mouth. This quicker, high-performance technology is sure to make your next dental visit much more comfortable and timely.

Intra-Oral Camera
Using our intra-oral camera, Dr. Mason is able to see in your mouth in a different vision. He is more easily able to detect fractures in teeth that can lead to detrimental breakage of tooth structure, broken down fillings, and abnormalities of the soft tissue. This camera allows your dentition to be magnified up to 100 times, helping Dr. Mason accomplish optimum care for your mouth.

Cavity-Detecting Laser
In addition to our intra-oral camera being able to magnify dental abnormalities, it also allows our hygienists to assist
in cavity detection with a new imaging fluorescent light feature. The laser detects decay and allows us to view it on our screen in a different color, making diagnosis extremely easy and precise. With this laser, you will never contemplate whether or not the doctor removed every last bit of decay. This laser provides unmatched efficiency and has been an asset to our patients.

Diode Soft Tissue Laser
In restorative dentistry, close attention must be paid not only to the restoration, but to the area surrounding the restoration as well. This type of thinking should be applied to provide the esthetics and functionality the patient seeks. Therefore, to provide the best in patient comfort and minimally invasive procedures, practitioners must maintain familiarity with the newest instruments and techniques available through innovation and product development.

Of these new instruments, the soft-tissue diode is one that should be added to every restorative and esthetic dental practitioner’s arsenal. Soft-tissue diode laser techniques are proven to be more efficient and gentle when compared with previous procedures. These lasers also are much less traumatic to the surrounding areas and the patient.

The laser is used in the following procedures: Periodontal management procedures, Excisional and incisional biopsies, gingivectomies, Soft-tissue crown lengthening, Aphthous and herpetic ulcer therapy, Esthetic gingival contouring, Reduction of gingival hypertrophy, Incision and drainage of abscesses and more.
